About
The Holladay Brothers recently completed a two-year engagement with Dolby Labs, creating a series of multichannel, multi sensory installations entitled “Prime” in the main entry of the company’s new headquarters in San Francisco. Each of Prime’s four-parts were displayed on paneled bezeless screens with over 6 dozen audio tracks playing throughout an array of Dolby Atmos-enabled speakers embedded in the ceiling. The work explores the concept of memory and the process by which a memory is encoded, stored, consolidated, and recalled with melodies and visual motifs evolving over the course of 24 months.
